Empowering Women:From Crisis to Empowerment My personal reflection

From Crisis to Empowerment – My personal reflection

As you may know my passion is empowering women and one way that I do this is via Teleseminars. At the beginning of every Teleseminar I share just a little about myself. Why? Because I want to motivate everyone on that call to know that they don’t have to have it all together to move forward with their empowering success. That they too can realize empowerment through crisis.

Now when I say that you don’t have to have it all together I don’t mean that you lead a ragedy life and aren’t making any movement or taking targeted action towards your dreams, your desired goals. What I am saying is that you don’t have to wait until your free of some of your challenges to influence or impact the lives of others.

So why am I talking to you about empowerment through crisis? Because this is where my journey towards impacting women across the world began.

I was already leading live events and connecting with women, however, I never imagined how far my ministry/business would reach and how quickly until I started a chapter in my daughters and our life.

In 2007 I was awakened by my daughter who was calling from her home and the next words spoken echoed and caused my heart to flutter she said “Mommy I can’t see!” I had to swallow, pull the phone away,, regroup and ask her “what did you say?” She repeated “Mom I can’t see!” I responded “Oh T!” (shorted for privacy)
and gave the phone to her dad while I came to terms with I just heard. I know that I had to respond in Faith, with courage to tell her that it will be alright and take the next steps.

To move fast her Father left and took her to a hospital that I will not name because of what I’m about to say. She returned with a prescription to take 16 pills…. did you read that? 16 pills to take daily. Now if I was a silly woman I would have followed through but we could hear in our spirit to get her to another hospital. We did and they kept her prescribed what they thought was needed. Now the journey began.
They proceeded with negative information. They didn’t know if she would regain her sight.

We finally left the hospital and vowed leaving that yes that would see her again and she would see them “literally” is what I said.

Day be day we prayed. Believed and at first saw no results of improvement. I got in my spirit to have her act like it’s so and she agreed. We had an event coming and I wanted to postpone to care for her and my husband said continue. I was led to call it a victory service. What? Yes. In obedience not knowing what would happen we called it a victory service. Well, the time came for Morning Glory and our daughter saw with her own eyes every participant. Oh! We worshipped in our home and everytime we worshipped there was a manifestation. I can’t say everything here. But oh what a Glorious time of Empowerment and proving of our Faith.

The other thing is I quit my job to care for her 24/7 and now could whine, feel sorry or move forward.

I was blessed to participate in a Boot Camp of one of my mentors and from there took action. About 6 weeks later I hosted my first Boot Camp, Telesummits, other events and the rest is history. One of my first programs I created was The Extraordinary Woman, Extraordinary Life Silver Coaching which is now an ecoaching program. I have created many since that time.

Yes, we realized Empowerment through crisis. How? We made the choice for empowerment. and God’s glory to be manifested. We had started before this crisis building our Faith.

I encourage you to become Faith-full and live Fear-less.

” In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].” Ephesians 6:10 Amplififed

Empowering you,
