Write the Vision, Make It Plain: Be Open to God’s Optical Adjustments – Guest Blog Post

Write the Vision, Make It Plain and Always Be Open to Gods’ Optical Adjustments

trust God

I remember when God first opened my eyes to a hint of the ministry that He was calling me to. Since I had previously been in a marriage situation where I wasn’t freely able to function in such a capacity, when I was finally able to, I got busy about the Father’s business immediately. Actually, I got so busy that you would have thought that I was on steroids or something – LOL. I didn’t have the full picture at that moment, but this famous quote by Martin Luther King summed it all up for me and encouraged me to do something “You don’t have to see the whole staircase just take the first step.” For all my fellow analytical individuals who can relate to hesitating and overthinking matters, I just wanted to send you that little reminder (smile).

At this particular time, I am at a pivotal juncture in my journey where God is once again ordering my steps and giving further clarity to the vision He has for my life. He recently performed one of those suddenly, God moments where you know, that you know, that you know that it had to be Him and reminded me once again that He was smiling down on little old me. I am sure that you can relate. Kind of makes me blush to know that He loves me (us) so much!

Now, this new blessing will require that I rearrange some projects and new initiatives that I had just begun, but instead of getting bent out of shape about it, I have made a choice to just go with it! What is it you ask? It is anything that comes your way or happens in your life that impacts your plans. You see, we may write the vision, but ultimately, it should be Gods’ will for our lives and not our own that serves as the driving force in our lives. We should always be flexible enough to embrace the optical adjustments that God allows or sets in motion along our life’s journey. Never get so attached to any season so much so that you struggle with moving when God says its’ time to move, revising the vision when its’ time to take your assignment to the next level, or just neglect to flow with the normal current of change.

God sees our lives and our story as an open canvas that is transitioning from Glory to Glory! “So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord-who is the Spirit-, makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.”-2 Corinthians 3:18-NLT
I just want to encourage someone out there to Embrace Your Change (s). God is always up to something, but even more so when he starts changing and rearranging things! You are in good hands!
Peace, Love, and Blessings!
